The Triple Moon is used in Pagan and Wiccan teachings. It represents the threefold nature of the Goddess as maiden, mother and crone.
The Maiden is the youngest aspect of the Goddess and is represented by the waxing moon, related with discovery and most creative aspects of our personality. The Mother represents ripeness, fertility, sexuality, fulfillment, stability, power and life and is represented by the full moon. The Crone represents wisdom, repose, death, and endings represented by the waning moon.
Rainbow moonstone is thought to bring balance, harmony and hope while enhancing creativity, compassion, endurance and inner confidence. It is also very helpful to strengthen intuition and psychic perception, especially offering us visions of things that we are not immediately aware of.
