Each soy wick candle is made in store at Witch Chest with essential oils, soy wax, crystals and herbs. Our new moon candle is made with essential oils of frankincense, mandarin, vanilla and ginger with dried ginger pieces and black obsidian crystal chips on top.
The New Moon (Dark moon), when the moon appears to be completely covered in darkness is a great time for manifesting what you wish to have in your life. It is also a good time for scrying and other methods of divination. Magickal workings aimed at initiating new projects (jobs, ventures, spiritual growth etc...) are also best done within the new moon.
The herbs on the top of the candle will burn, causing a higher flame when you first begin to burn the candle; this is normal. Candles with herbs will need to be watch more closely.
